K. Shams, M.D., Medical Director

K. Shams M.D., our Medical Director, completed his internship at Shadyside Hospital, an affiliate of Pittsburgh Medical School and University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Shams attended the University of South Florida Medical School where he received his education and training in Psychiatry and Neurology. 

The founder of Florida Academy of Pain Medicine, and a charter member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, Dr. Shams specializes in Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry with special interest in NeuroPsychiatry, Psycho-Pharmacology, Neurological Rehabilitation, Substance Abuse Disorders, Chronic Pain Management, and Military Psychiatry. With extensive clinical experience, Dr. Shams provides thorough and quality evaluation and treatment to his patients.

Nicole Mosley, BSN, MSN, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Mosley completed her internship and tutorial residency at highly creditable Navy Base Hospital, Fort Walton Medical Center and Escambia Neuropsychiatry Center under direct supervision of highly trained attending preceptors and psychiatrists. She is a graduate of the University of South Alabama, Doctor of Nursing Practice. Dr. Mosley is Board Certified In Psychiatry by American Nurses Credentialing Center. Dr. Mosley specializes in Evaluation and Management of Addictive Disorders, Substance Abuse, General Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry.

Dr. Mosley provides Evaluation and Management for the following Conditions:
Anxiety, Pathological Fear and Phobias, OCD, PTSD, Depression, Post Partum Depression, Bipolar Disorders, Opioid Dependence, Eating Disorder and Obesity, ADHD.
