K. Shams M.D., our Medical Director, completed his internship at Shadyside Hospital, an affiliate of Pittsburgh Medical School and University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Shams attended the University of South Florida Medical School where he received his education and training in Psychiatry and Neurology.
The founder of Florida Academy of Pain Medicine, and a charter member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, Dr. Shams specializes in Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry with special interest in NeuroPsychiatry, Psycho-Pharmacology, Neurological Rehabilitation, Substance Abuse Disorders, Chronic Pain Management, and Military Psychiatry. With extensive clinical experience, Dr. Shams provides thorough and quality evaluation and treatment to his patients.
Dr. Mosley completed her internship and tutorial residency at highly creditable Navy Base Hospital, Fort Walton Medical Center and Escambia Neuropsychiatry Center under direct supervision of highly trained attending preceptors and psychiatrists. She is a graduate of the University of South Alabama, Doctor of Nursing Practice. Dr. Mosley is Board Certified In Psychiatry by American Nurses Credentialing Center. Dr. Mosley specializes in Evaluation and Management of Addictive Disorders, Substance Abuse, General Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry.

Specializing in Counseling and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy of Depression, Anxiety, Substance Abuse and Mood Disorders in Adults and Geriatric patients, Mr. Soelzer has served as a member of the Examining Committee for the Clerk of Court in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties participating in Competency Evaluations of Court Cases. Prior to his practice at Escambia NeuroPsychiatric Center, Mr. Soelzer served as the Therapist and Director of Social Services at Sacred Heart Hospital's Haven of Our Lady of Peace and Rosewood Manor ALFs and as a Psychiatric Associate of Rehabilitation Center at Park Place. He has special interest in music therapy.
Mr. Soelzer received his Master of Science degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University following his Bachelor Degree in Social Work at University of West Florida. He completed his Associate Degree in Arts at Pensacola State College.
