Appointment Process

Unlike physical and medical appointment processing, the appointment process for psychiatric services are detailed and thorough. At Sunshine Behavioral Medicine, all appointments are preceded by a detailed questionnaire also referred to as a Bio. We advise the patients to complete this questionnaire and present it to the clinic at least one hour in advance. Except for Emergency services that require a short admission form, patients will not be evaluated by the psychiatric staff without completion of the Bio.

All appointments are met On Time. As much we strive to remain on time and respect our patient’s time, medical care is timeless and the length of services is somewhat unpredictable. Yet be assured that we will afford you the same concentrated attention when your time is due.

To avoid any distractions we encouraged patients to refrain from eating or drinking, not to be accompanied by children and silence all hearing devices, cell phones and such while visiting with the psychiatric staff.
